The Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit #21 serves as the coordinating agency that brings together diverse school districts, career and technical schools, businesses, and community groups. It is the job of the CLIU to facilitate inter-district cooperation, provide educational and administrative services to schools, and function as a link between the Pennsylvania Department of Education and local school districts.

Northampton Area School District is passionate about offering a range of college & career-based experiences to prepare students for future success. The Parkland School District aims to create a safe and supportive environment where students can grow both socially and academically. They strive to empower each student to become active contributors to our global society through collaboration between students, staff, parents, and the community. Career readiness is a key focus for students from kindergarten through twelfth grade, supported by teachers, counselors, and community partners. Students engage in various activities such as STEAM projects, career interest surveys using Xello, and visits to the Lehigh Career & Technical Institute to explore different career paths. The high school offers additional career readiness experiences such as Career Speaker Day and Career Fair, along with programs like the Elementary World Language program and the Elementary Teacher Aide Program. Throughout their academic journey, students develop important skills like resume writing, interviewing, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
